This photo depicts the 1869 Celebration at the completion
of the Transcontinental Railroad in downtown San Francisco.
Starting with the Comstock Lode Silver Strike, leading to
the "Big Four’s" Central Pacific Railroad connecting to the coast-to-coast rail
lines, Mark Hopkins, Leland Stanford, Charles Crocker, and Collis Huntington
because ridiculously wealthy and built a kingdom on Nob Hill.
