100th Performance Milestone at our Parlor Theatre

We Celebrated our 100th show at the San Francisco Magic Parlor last night!!!

The Chancellor Hotel theatre overflowed with excitement and enjoyment and our full-house of guests enjoyed petite French pastries after intermission.

A Magical landmark for us indeed…  Thank you everyone for making the Parlor a colossal success.

Our next goal? The one year mark of “Magical Tales of San Francisco” at the Parlor!

Preview the Magic Parlor on Bay Area TV!

The Parlor has contracted for its first run of TV commercials.

I’m so excited to be using this medium to get word spread throughout the Bay Area.

Our ads will run the last three weeks of June, I’ll get details to everyone soon!

We’ll have coupons on the KOFY Club page too. Watch KOFY’s 20.2 Channel or MyTV on Comcast Cable 196!

Transformation to the Magic Parlor from the Chancellor Restaurant

Hello folks!

I finally have photos of  my “Brigadoon style” before-and-after transformation that …in four 4 hours… magically changes Luques Restaurant in the Chancellor into the San Francisco Magic Parlor… done every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (it’s my workout instead of going to the gym!)

-- Go to
-- Use search box: “San Francisco Magic Parlor”
-- Click left page blue link “recent”
-- Click on the upper left photo
-- Click the “newer” button each time to see all 10

I’m really proud of my “La Belle Epoque” style Parlor created from the blank canvas of the dining room. Feel free to share with anyone who may be interested.

Magically, Walt

We've Redesigned Our Magic Parlor Theatre Programs!

Well… it seems like it’s taken forever.
But in the next few weeks we’ll have our new theatre programs ready for the Parlor show.

I’m really happy with the design and content… with more fun San Francisco eccentrics and trivia packed in for our audiences to enjoy.

Join us at San Francisco’s Chancellor Hotel Theatre  on Union Square soon to see a our “classy” program… and get a San Francisco Magic Parlor pen of your very own…

Here’s a sneak peak at our cover photo!

What's a nice gril like you...

Don’t you find it incongruous and ludicrous…

…that notorious Morton Street, San Francisco’s most seedy street of prostitution, was re-named “Maiden Lane” (and not something like not “Madam” Boulevard) after the Barbary Coast days?

Visit the San Francisco Magic Parlor theatre at the Chancellor Hotel Union Square to learn more weird trivia about our favorite city!
